Established in 1984 in Mumbai, Natural Ice Cream has pioneered the art of making artisan ice creams using only fruits, dry fruits, chocolates, milk and sugar. This idea was conceptualised by Mr R. S. Kamath, CMD of Kamaths Ourtimes Ice Creams Pvt Ltd. With a brilliant product in place, they now needed full-time assistance in scaling up and meeting the increasing demand with supply. Large scale ice cream manufacture is a convoluted process requiring proficiency and teamwork.

KEY DELIVERABLES
All decision-making duties were assigned to 3P Solutions from start to finish. Our key roles where process mapping, machinery selection, installation and commissioning. This green field project's focus was on large scale production. Enhancement of the operation from an artisan line to a continuous production line was possible with the freezing capacity of 2T per hour. The challenge was to use modern technology to retain the authenticity and taste of the product, regardless of the quantity.
RESULTS
The project was successfully completed in 2011. A factory was constructed to churn out large amounts of ice cream everyday and meet all the desired production goals. The flavours were intact and the freshness well maintained. The plant is currently supplying ice cream to 150 outlets across India. They've never used preservatives or stabilizers in their products. Deep in tradition and true to their roots, they redefine the definition of traditional and modern creativity.
